DIRECTIONS TO
FISK’S STILT HOUSE & TICK RIDGE
1) Take Hwy 53 to Ardmore and go straight through town.
2) Go straight over the I-65 overpass.
3) As you reach the far side of the overpass, start counting mileage. You are now on Hwy 31 traveling towards Elkton and Pulaski, TN. From this point to Tick Ridge is exactly 11.2 miles.
4) Travel 9.7 miles and then turn right onto Hardy Road (as you turn onto Hardy Road, note there will be a white clapboard church on the left-hand side at the top of the hill). Pay attention, because a grove of trees blocks the view of Hardy Road coming up on it.
5) Travel 1 mile and the road up to the Fisk’s stilt house will be on your left (296 Hardy Road). Travel another .5 miles and the Fisk’s Tick Ridge cabin will be on your right (501 Hardy Road). There are paddocks and a metal shed just past the gate.
