Welcome to the   Huntsville Pony Club website

Celebrating its 43rd anniversary in 2010, the Huntsville Pony Club is open to any child with the use of a pony or horse who is interested in increasing their equestrian skills and meeting other children with a similar interest. Our club is located in Huntsville, Alabama, and is a non-profit organization, managed and organized by parental volunteers.

The goals and philosophy of the Huntsville Pony Club are:

♞ To foster the safe enjoyment of horses and riding.

♞ To provide a sequential education program in riding, horse and barn management, and competition.

♞ To guide and support riders in settings and achieving realistic goals.

♞ To develop an understanding and sympathy of the horse and our riders.

♞ To provide parents an opportunity to share in and support (through their own skills and interests) the rider's love of horses and riding.

♞ To provide riding opportunities that allow parents to pool resources and keep the significant costs associated with this sport from becoming prohibitive.

♞ To make known to parents and the community the developmental beliefs of the discipline and responsibility involved in riding and horse care.
